So yun nga... since what I'm after are the miniposter to be collected and the in-game item (20 gems) [i don't need the others].

The first event was First Day Reward
Be ready to go to your nearest 7 - Eleven store starting 6:30 AM on September 23, as the first 50 Grand Chasers who purchase a Grand Chase Slurpee Collectible Card will be rewarded with a 7 - Eleven Power Wing!

So ok luckly meron 7-11 sa area kung saan ako natratrabaho.. and there are three (3) of them in a span of 300m actually....

The red mark indicates the three 7-11's and the blue mark indicates the two Mini stops...

7am and end ng shift ko.. so in time para sa event..

I clocked out at 7:50am and was in the 7-11 store indicated on the upper side of the map at 8:00am.

I looked around and saw the poster, which wasn't there last Saturday.
There is also I think this big poster ng event dun sa sulok...
I saw Arme and Ronan at the slurpee bin but there was no GC cups.. baka naubusn na ako...

I asked the clerk.

ME: Sir abot pa ba ako sa Grand Chase event?
CA: (CAshier) Ah yung slurpee cups and card?
ME: Ye...
CA: Opo abot pa........? (it seemed di nya alam what i was talking about)
ME: sige.. isa nga...
CA: Teka lang sir ah...

Well.. he went into the storage and brought out the GC slurpee cups... ... ... ..

Nung nasa counter na siya ang ikukuha na ako ng cup.. sabi ko dalawa na...

At that time the supervisor of the store was kinda aligaga on what to do.. brings out this registration sheet from beneath the slurpee bin and told the clerk that I need to register...

Lo and behold... ako ang una... LOL

Kung di lang ako pa uwi lima bibilin ko eh... wahahahahahahahaha

After registration he handed me these cups and I filled it with those oozing sugar concoctions...

One was green... the other red (pink).... I didn't bother to read the labels because I was excited holding the cups.. They aren't regular cups.. they are laminated. And the color were bold and stands out.

Binayaran ko na.. The supervisor read again the mechanics of the event then binigay na rin sa akin yung cards.. di na ako pinapili since it was the first time... anything will do.. ginawa na lang nya is yung magkasunod na lang..

I don't know which one is which: Supernova and High voltage.

It has two side which features Jin (Fighter[1st job]) {9th character} [not yet released] on fighting pose and fighting stance. And Ronan(Abyss Knight[4th job]), Ryan(Viken[3rd job]), and Lass(Striper[4th job])...

I kept the green one in my backpack since I did not bother to fill it to the brim. Baka matunaw at magkalat pa sa loob ng bag ko..

And carry ko lang yung red on my way home. Pinaplastic ko separately yung dalawa.. And after a few steps outside tinanggal ko na rin yung plastic nung dala ko para makita ng lahat kung ano dala dala ko... wahahahaha

Ayun effective naman... nagsisitinginan sa akin mga tao kasi kung ano dala ko...

As you can see the left has the pink tint and the right one has a green tint.

The red one tastes like berries, grapes, raspberries, strawberries or something.. (I can't make out the taste of artificial flavoring)

The green one? OMG! It feels like Shrek's vomit. Joke! It's not that disgusting. It tastes... different... And I can't make it out. I know that taste but I can't remember what it is.. It's sweet (obviously) and it leaves and after taste.

When I got home I research on what the green stuff was... Turns out the red one is the Supernova while the green one... I still don't know.. but I think it's the ginseng added to the concoction that made that after taste... Upon reading it's either the slurpee in Shrek's days or that Mountain Dew BMX thingy...

Anyway, the cups were awsome.. that was a surprise because what I'm really after for this event are the 20 gems (in-game item) and the mini poster...

Well... 2 down 7 more to go... ahahahaha

I'm gonna find out what that green thing is tomorrow~! Hehe'

Sky Cable customer service LOL

Hahahaha eto na naman ako~ :-p

Kasi mistakenly napanggatong ng katulong namin yung statement of account ng sky cable namin...

So ok, it will be less convenient to pay kasi using that statement of account madali lang kasi mag bayad sa 7-11..

Anyway... i did what i like to do... call customer support.. nyahahaha

And instead of pressing 3.. I pressed 1 for Postpaid subscriber...
Then sabi Press 1 for billing ek and other concerns.. So press 1 ako..

ME: Saan/pwede ko bang madownload yung billing statement ko kasi nawala yung nawala yung statement of account ko eh... (same things different names)
CA: Can I have the name and account number, po sir?
ME: (binigay ko yung name)... di ko memorize yung account number eh...
CA: Address na lang po..
ME: (bigay address)...
CA: Sir, ang outstanding balance nyo po ay P1,2**.71 (may butal LOL)
ME: Ah ok... So, saan pwede ma download yung billing statement?
CA: Kung nawawala po yung bill nyo pwede naman po kayong magbayad sa accredited banks...
ME: Ok sana kung madownload ko yung para sa i-clip out (yung statement) at magbayad sa 7-11. It's inconvenient kasi for me to pay sa bank kung katabi ko lang naman yung 7-11 di ba? (kumuha na ng gunting at naggugupit na sa hangin...)
CA: Kung gusto nyo sir i-cross check ko po kayo para maibigay ko sa inyo yung account number nyo at makapag bayad kayo sa banks.
ME: So hindi ko nga madodownload yung billing statement ko?
CA: Hindi po.
ME: Sige salamat.. ba-bay... (sa salamat pa lang binababa ko na yung phone)

AMP naman hindi ba pwedeng isang tanong isang sagot na lang? Sayang sa oras eh... Makakarami pa siya ng calls... tataas pa ratings nya.... 8-}

Reasons to not want Sky Broadband

Coming from PLDT Business line for 4 years.. I got what we want from PLDT. Download anything and everything... Continuous connection.. etc.. but all that has its caveats... And I'll just talk about it some other time.

This is about Sky Broadband service...

We were excited about the new ISP (Internet Service Provider) because it promises to be fast. And it is.. but it has its down falls.. and they are good reasons to not subscribe.

1. Epic reason: You cannot download from Rapidshare, Mega upload, etc.. (those file sharing service that tracks your IP address) and other sites like 4chan. It will always tell you that you have exceeded their download limit.. please wait for # minutes to download again... etc.. even if it's your first time visiting the site.
2. Connection cuts off sporadically.. but not always... [bad if you're downloading a big file without the use of download managers]
   
3. If the connection is slow.. its REALLY slow...
4. It's not "user friendly" to share [you have to be technically inclined to tweak advanced settings]
   
5. Customer service.

I think you've read about me blabbing about concerns 1 - 4 on my comments on my brother's multiply. But now I'm really pissed at that customer rep that I just talked a while ago.

I usually get what I want when talking to a call center agent. Like the first time I inquired as to why I cannot download from Rapid Share. The agent told me what to do, what needs to be done. And it worked..

ME: di ako makagamit ng rapidshare. [simpleng impormasyon di ba?]
CA: sir regarding sa rapidshare kailangan nyo pong gumamit ng proxy dyan. bigay ko po sa inyo yung IP... [edi binigay nya]
ME: ok sige thanks.

So I did what he told me and boom.. It worked.. So I'm happy.

And now... Di na gumagana yung sinabi nung CA na iyon kasi matagal na yun at nag "upgrade" na ng system yung Sky...

So I had to ask for another proxy setting. Kasi mag dodownload kami ng bagong map ng DoTA.

[in fairness mabilis silang sumagot ngayon ah.. 4 na ring lang]

ME: May bago ba kayong proxy? Kasi hindi ako makapag download sa rapidshare.. (straight to the point di ba)
CA: Sir, hindi po kami gumagamit ng proxy eh... Wala pong available na proxy... [ano daw? hindi gumagamit pero walang available/ O.o]
ME: So, hindi ako makakapag download sa rapidshare ngayon? [mainit na ulo ko]
CA: Opo.
ME: (baba agad ng telepono) [hindi ko na pinakinggan iba pa nyang sasabihin kasi straight na naman sagot nya eh]

Ay oo nga... wala ngang proxy.. kaya pala may proxy06.skybroadband.com.ph

Oo, wala talaga akong patawad sa mga call center agent.. sila na nga lang mahihingan mo ng tulong sila pa yung kung anu-ano sinasabi...

Talagang pagkatapos nitong lock-down period babalik PLDT DSL na ako.. or maybe bayan dsl..
