Rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy i9200 include:

That's one juicy speculations... Cool rendering and juicy specs FTW!! Rumored to be announces January 2011 I can't get enough of the current Galaxy S, which is not released yet in other parts of the world, and now it's successor is being rumored. I really miss the days when a phone can wait for 2-3 years without being replaced.. or maybe I am just at the wrong side of the fence where this rumors keep on coming... The price of being in IT... up-to-date rumors... tsk.

Samsung Galaxy S now available on Globe for pre-order

When I was passing by Greenbelt 3 to get to Greenbelt 1, I noticed a "new" Globe hub on the way. It's beside Powerbooks, in front of b_connected, near Healthy Options, etc.. It's nothing new, I pass by Globe stores all the time but this one got my attention. It's an advertisement for the Samsung Galaxy S! So I went in. Circled the display looking for the phone. And at the middle there is the beautiful phone. Three of them :) I picked one and meddled with it. It's bigger than the iPhone but a bit lighter and thinner (than 3Gs?). It's a shiny piece of black glass. And I mean shiny. The screen is all black when the screen is off but when it turns on all you can notice is the screen and nothing but the screen! The screen is AMOLED and it's very very nice! Everything is crisp and vibrant! And very captivating as well But unlike the new iPhone 4, you can still see the pixels upon REAL CLOSE UP! iPhone 4*, iPhone 3Gs*, Galaxy S ^{*image from MobileCrunch} It's very prone to smudges as you can see from the video and photos. The Samsung Galaxy S packs the following features:

I wonder if you can change the font or it comes bundled with the skin... If only the phone was configured with the Android Market and WiFi I would have run some benchmarks nyahahaha~! I wanted to play more with the phone but I was already fondling it for about 20 minutes. I never cared about the iPad that was in front of me :-p I wanted to say more about this phone but I had spent only so little time with it. I'm definitely gonna buy this phone maybe December or on my birthday, March. I'm still waiting for the price to settle down :) Unless of course the Droid X will be released here with a better competitive price by that time. I won't hesitate to buy the Droid X if it's around 30k, give or take 5k. And I'm gonna be waiting for this dock. It's really drooling! hahaha As for the price... I asked the sales lady on when is the availability of the Galaxy S. She told me it was available since June 3 on pre-order. And the price is: Php 31,000! She said that you can also avail of this phone at 0% interest on a 12-month payment. I also asked if when I will get the phone. She said that it's on "reservation with the source" and you can get the phone in 1-2 weeks. Now, I don't know if the price she said was on contract. I hope it isn't! I don't care if it's locked to Globe. I'm on Globe anyway. And on December, I hope they bundle the dock with the phone or something. And that dock! I hope it's gonna be cheaper than what I'm thinking. There's a lot of hoping going on here... hehe' Anyway, let's just hope wish for the best. A lot of Android goodness awaits our future ^^,
